A chlor-alkali integrated chemical complex expected to produce five different products including high quality Chlorinated Paraffin Wax (CPW) as its main product. CPW is used in flexible PVC compounds, binders, resins as a secondary plasticizer, in paints, textiles, tents, as a flame retardant, etc. The project will also produce the following useful by-products: Caustic Soda (NaOH), Hydrochloric Acid (HCl), Calcium Chloride (CaCl2) and Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl). The project is mainly export oriented and under implementation, as a joint venture, with an Indian company; KLJ Organic Limited, as a technology provider and an equity partner. The project is expected to start commercial production during the first quarter of 2018.
